Rivera Vineyards 2010 and 2011 Perpetuity Cabernet Sauvignons earn Outstanding ratings from Robert Parker

Rivera Vineyards is pleased to announce 91+ and 90 point ratings from Robert Parker on our future Perpetuity vintages:

Robert Parker/Wine Advocate, October 2013

Rivera Vineyards/Perpetuity

“Two outstanding efforts from this Atlas Peak property include the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Perpetuity, a dense purple-colored, full-bodied effort displaying plenty of loamy, earthy scents interwoven with black currants, unsmoked cigar tobacco and background oak. This rich, impressive Cabernet can be drunk now or cellared for another 12-15 years. (91+ Points)

More chocolate notes appear in the dense ruby/purple-colored 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Perpetuity. It possesses charming red and black currant fruit notes intermixed with licorice and wet rocks. With medium body, low acidity and ripe tannin, it can be enjoyed over the next 5-7 years. (90 Points)”

Parker’s rating system employs a 50-100 point quality score (Parker Points®):

96-100: An extraordinary wine of profound and complex character displaying all the attributes expected of a classic wine of its variety. Wines of this caliber are worth the special effort to find, purchase, and consume.

90-95: An outstanding wine of exceptional complexity and character. In short, these are terrific wines.

Reserve your bottles of these vintages now.
